about
I’ve had this song kicking around for a bit but didn’t know how to complete it. This last year I sat down with a few songs like this to finally get them out and I am happy with the results...or as happy as I’ll let myself be lol.
I chose to take a snippet of Eddie Vedder reading a letter he got from Damien Echols, a person wrongly convicted of a crime and spent years in solitary confinement.
The idea of solitary confinement scares the hell out of me. If you’re ever feeling isolated please go read up on what Damien went through and maybe it’ll alleviate some of the thoughts your having about you current situation.
The words from the letter discuss the idea of now. I love this idea because we always tend to think about the past or the future instead of what we’re doing now. Releasing this music is my way of living in the now.
